Kevin Henderson of First New England Real Estate sold the Ruger Mill in Newport New Hampshire in August of 2016. The LLC based in South Florida has purchased the Mill in Newport. Mr. Ruger took careful consideration in searching for someone who had a vision who could handle the complex offerings. With Mr. Henderson’s background in Private Wealth clients he was hand picked to complete the sale. The Ruger family has retained First New England Real Estate to Broker the family lands consisting of over 4,580 Acres of Lands located in Grantham, Croydon and North Newport, New Hampshire. The New Hampshire land has not been on the market since the late William B. Ruger Sr. purchased them in the early 1960s. Henderson said it is an Honor to be the chosen one to bring closure to the family. Mr. Ruger’s vision was to keep them open to general public for hunting and enjoyment.
the sale of the Ruger property included 110 acres of land. The land and buildings are currently assessed for just under $1 million, Watson stated.
The North Newport property was listed by The Peterson Inc. of Peterborough. Realtor Andrew Peterson is co-owner and vice president of the firm.
